Goodyear TruckForce Network Reports Fast UK Response Times

Roadside assistance shorter than a football match

Goodyear has announced that its latest average turnaround time for roadside assistance by its TruckForce service network in the UK is really fast: Across the UK in 2013, from the time a call for help was received to the truck being back on the road, the average time was just 113 minutes – quicker than any football match you will watch at the World Cup this summer.

In 2013 the TruckForce network took care of more than 45,000 incidents and recorded an average time of 113 minutes from receipt of the callout to the completion of the job. This figure takes into account some remote parts of the UK where large uninhabited areas mean that it is not possible for assistance to be close at hand.

All of TruckForce’s emergency roadside assistance is handled via ActionLine, a 24 hour 365 day a year dedicated call centre which deals with the driver of the broken down vehicle and arranges the break down service and fitting so the driver is back on the move in the quickest time possible. After receiving a call, ActionLine then contacts the local partner, with the aim of having a technician at the breakdown in less than 70 minutes.

When the TruckForce Technician arrives, the van they operate out of is equipped with everything needed to quickly fix the majority of mechanical or tyre-related issues. For example, if a tyre needs to be replaced it will take between 20 to 40 minutes to change it and get you on your way.

The TruckForce network provides a premium quality truck tyre service and breakdown assistance support network, across the UK. The strategically placed Hubs and independent TruckForce partners ensure that the biggest cities and the most remote villages can be covered. With the TruckForce service network and ActionaLine roadside assistance as well as FleetOnlineSolutions internet management system, TruckForce provides the broadest dedicated service in the industry.
